The maker hart pro x go mixer should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. For combining multiple audio sources, this little mixer is bang for the buck, perfect for perfect 3.5mm stereo plug for a 1/4" mono plug for the guitar. The Just Mixer S has a headphone jack and USB or battery power mode. It provides a power-off option, an internal battery power source option, or a USB external power feed. It comes with two output 3.5mm audio jacks, one for headphones and one for speakers, and can be played to both outputs at the same time.
The inputs are line level stereo so you would need the correct 3.5mm stereo plug to a 1/4" mono plug for the guitar. This will create a dedicated MIC port for the Macbook which you can connect to the output or headphone port of the mixer. The sound management quality is excellent, simple to operate, and, all controls (gain for each of the three channels and the master volume control) function with great smoothness and linearity. The unit operates on a pair of AAA batteries (included), or via the use of the enclosed USB power cable.

The mackie pro x go mixer might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year. You’ll find these mixers in venues across the country covered in years of dust and grime. The XLR/quarter-inch main channels are great. It has a wonderful tone from its mic preamps. It offers up 24 different effects ranging from delays, reverbs, choruses, distortion, and even an auto-wah feature. It has a blend function, fx level control, and a quick mute switch.
This mixer does have mute on each channel, which is a nice feature especially at the end of a karaoke singer's performance just before they yell into the mic. The driver allows terrific communication from mixer to laptop and back again allowing you to use DAWs and stream your mix online.
