The you&me rat coat is satisfactory and appropriate and fits well with your daily usage. The outside cage is very sturdy. It is great for babies, as a secondary cage and for pet rat introductions. There are no snaps or locks to keep shelves (or indeed the frame) together once assembled. The hooks don't keep the shelves in place.

This cage is good for about 4 rats bars and 1/2 inch. The metal is perfect for gerbils. The locks on the doors are very, very secure. It is a sturdy cage, and easy to take apart and clean.
