Masterworks Publishing has been making great music for years, thanks to a combination of clever design and appropriate materials. This book is great because there’s all the popular classicals that you’ll need to impress your family including dynamics and yay. It has a few pieces that could be practiced by a beginner student, such as Prelude in E Minor by Chopin, but for the most part, this book is on the advanced side. Technically it may be more intermediate but the level of skilled required to perfect these compositions will satisfy any advanced pianists needs.
The collection is also a good length and gives lots of variety in the pieces that are selected so that there are many things that people could try playing. It also ranges in difficulty so there is something for every level of pianist.
Why We Like This:
Has a great variety of songs
Good mix of different levels of difficulty and lots of familiar pieces
Great collection for study, intermediate to advanced
Amazing compilation of well known classical favorites

Thomas Johnson offers a variety of music for personal choice and yet maintaining quality in all the variants. There are no fingering charts and there's no musical theory instruction. It's just a collection of tunes you can play on the soprano recorder, one per page (typically) in rather large print, aimed at the beginner.
Why We Like This:
Great beginners book with lots of simple songs to play
