Not everyone likes to purchase sand for their daily usage, but the exo terra red reptile sand would be an anomoly. Exo Terra's desert terrarium sand is natural real desert sand with no added dyes or chemicals. It is great for bearded dragons, and looks amazing in the tanks. It has been sifted to remove impurities and to obtain a homogenous sand grain size. If you are looking for sand for your hamster that isn’t the generic coloured one then this is it.

It’s rlly nice and it gives a nice look to your cage, would be nice if you made a desert themed cage with this colour. It is safe to use with bearded dragons if you are not stupid and uneducated on bearded dragons. It is easy to keep clean.

  • Stimulates natural digging and burrowing behavior
  • Good quality sand for a fair

It will feel at home with teh sand color. It is perfect for a lepord gecko, super soft sand and lasts for a long time. It has bits and pieces of "ground" in it so it's not just straight sand. It has small bits of other sand particles to add to the natural look rather than looking like uniform play sand. It is a rust color, between red and orange.

This sand isn't dusty or too fine at all. It's virtually dust free and makes for very happy and clean gerbils. It is very soft, but zero dust.

Why We Like This:
  • All natural no dyes or colors added
  • Great for bearded dragons, sand boas, soft shell turtles, etc
  • Creates a very naturalistic and attractive environment for desert reptile species
  • Natural looking red sand, not vibrant red like other kinds
