The Legend of Zelda is fun, but doesn't pack that extra punch that Ocarina holds. It's more gamecube specific but in principle it applies cross-platform. The game pushes players to scour every inch of the environments. It'll attack before you can get your rifle aimed properly, making you panic and forcing you to take out your pistol instead and lose your precious one-hit sniper kill-shot. If you watch all of the cutscenes, you can beat this game in over 13 hours or so.

This game does not use the traditional shooter aiming system even though dual-analog joysticks are available on the Cube controllers. It is more gamecube specific but in principle it applies cross-platform. There are different difficulty settings depending on whether or not you beat the game once, but replay value is best enhanced by having many different ways to play the same game.

Why We Like This:
  • Analog joysticks are available on the cube controllers
  • Leon's cool american voice to luis's sera's spaniard heart-melting accent really catches the ear
  • You unlock new modes and outfits when you beat the game

The Leach Hunter is a pretty fun mode if you beat the game, and it adds replay to the game. It's a pinnacle of last-gen technology. The game presents a nice challenge but only because you're faced with contorlling two characters at one time rather than the standard one. It allows more item storage and can be helpful when in a room with surrounding enemies.

The map system is easy to toggle through and it keeps track of dropped objects and switching between the two characters and maintaining their inventories, including trading items, is very easy to do. The animations meshed with the backgrounds are a nice touch and add a lot to the atmosphere. If you can forgive the story and focus on the gameplay and environment, you will like this game. The game itself is still scary and fun.

Why We Like This:
  • Include the traditional locust mutations, oversized spiders, beefed up lizards and angry dogs
  • Good unlockables, and leech hunt mode is challenging and kind of fun
  • Lots of puzzle solving, working with a partner, good old fashioned survival horror

Resident evil Gamecube Game

Based on its original merits as a PSOne game, and the seamless transition to the Game Cube, this game deserves five stars. It features some interesting survival horror features that are not in re2 and resident evil director's cut. Customizing gun powders to form new ammunition is unique to this game as well and very fun to do.

This game is a direct port from Playstaion, and frankly, it carried over VERY well. The game features challenging enemies that come back to life at any time, and a plot that reveals more details of umbrella corporation's devious activities. It makes the game more interesting.

This game has some fun gameplay, but the player still moves like a tank. It's a good game for a port.

Why We Like This:
  • Great feature is fighting with nemisis at different levels
  • Third person perspective with gameplay elements of action/adventure/puzzle/suspense/horror
  • Great game to those that you will love the horror side of playstation

Capcom Classic Game

This game has a creepy atmosphere, with a lot of weird, cool looking scary monsters. It looks good, they add screen scrolling and other obvious visual updates. This is mainly aimed at the audience who only played Resident Evil on the gamecube, and its Capcom's attempt to capitalize on that. This is exactly the same game that most have already played through on the PS2 or DC, and as marvelous as it may be, it is not worth purchasing again on the GC if you already own the original.

This is also the only game (excluding RE4) with full 3-D backgrounds and a dynamic camera. There is a sniper rifle and linear launcher in the game that lets you shoot from 1st person but everything else in the game is 3rd person. It will move between two fixed points, giving it more flexibility. This game is going to keep you amused for a while.

Why We Like This:
  • A must play for a resident evil fan
  • You'll battle zombies, mutant animals and other abominations of nature
  • Definitely one of the best video game series of all times
