Microshift makes beautiful and great cable with classic and smartly choosen materials. The bike's stock set up is SRAM Grip Shifters. They give you plenty of extra for all kinds of bikes. The cables are more than long enough and it takes about 45 minutes to replace both shifters, dial in the derailleurs, take a test ride, then take a photo of the end result. The cable is an integral part of the shifter. It fits 7/8" handle bar tightens with allen screw. It will also be easier to shift.

Microshift probably makes shifters from extra-durable plastic so the falls lead to innocent scratches, never resulting in cracks. It does just check the speed 39 or 3.
