This type of board appears to be a great transition for a child who is very comfortable on a boogie/bodie board and wants to get in to surfing. It's too light and built like a surf board. This board is cool, it is very affordable, but still has the small agressive fish shape. It is superior to other soft top options. This board should be able to support you with no problems. This board is more geared towards kids or if the rider is larger then would need to be a very advanced surfer.
