This is a big heavy solid DJ case. It requires the Mackie Rack Mount Kit. These cases feature removable front, top and back covers, ball corners, recessed spring-loaded handles, aluminum edges, easy-glide casters and variable rack spaces, each with front & back rails. The wood panels are very thick and are made of actual wood sheets (not mdf) and are somewhere around 1/2" thick.

This case is very well built and is very solid and sturdy. It comes with sides but have to be removed and add the rack mount kit to be mounted securely in this case. There is a metal 1u brace that is included and already mounted in the back that may obstruct your ports however this brace can be moved. It works well with equipment and also it is a big heavy solid DJ case.
