The sabian small splash cymbal's material feels more premium than its price would suggest. It sounds exactly like you would expect a splash cymbal to sound. It allows entry-level drummers to acquire the tools they need without breaking the bank. This 10 inch splash has a nice crisp sound to it. It has a cutting, but not harsh tone and a good feel when playing. The sound is not great at all but it's still a good splash to. It adds that little extra sound to your set.

The SBRS are a great beginner cymbal for beginner kit players using sticks, but leave it at that. It is a fun addition to your drum set no matter what style you play.

Why We Like This:
  • Fast, percussive attack and really quick decay
  • One of the new comers and featured product

Meinl Cymbals Great little Cymbal

This splash is a great little cymbal. It is a german made, top-quality entry level cymbal that resembles more high-end models with its crisp, bright tone and musical feel. They capture the actual sound of the cymbal. It doesn't have very good tone and sounds weak. It works well as a splash or in stacks.

The inch cymbal is quieter than the 10, but the meinl cymbal does a great job and has its own stand out sound that sets off the quieter riffs. There are many instructional videos on the web that show placing a small splash on your snare in order to get a "clap" sound as heard in EDM. It has a long lifespan, even for hard hitters, and fits any musical style.

Why We Like This:
  • Nice little accent cymbal to add to your kit or stack on another cymbal
  • Fast accent, no ring to it, which is good for a splash
  • Well made and looks great too
  • Lots of fun and makes it interesting

These cymbals will make it easy for your first step into cymbals. The Traps brand set is a thin-shell, low-volume small club or home set with outstanding sound, so the low volume cymbals mix well with them. They are a lot smaller than hi-hats and high hats usually have a thinner top cymbal. They really add excellent dynamics and different accents to the sound.

The 8" splash would work great with a rock or country setup if you don't play John Bonham "beat the drums to death" style. It’s a golden pizza pan. This cymbal is an incredible value.

Why We Like This:
  • 5 -piece slingerland and rogers sets with hand-made zildjians
  • Resonance and sounds like a toy
  • New and hot release

Meinl Cymbals makes beautiful and great cymbal with classic and smartly choosen materials. It's not the greatest tone, compared to the classic series Meinl makes, but it does add to one's choices of sound with the drum kit. It is made in germany with ms63 brass alloy for a clean, bright, and crisp tone. It gives a nice high pitch tone without having to be hit hard like bigger cymbals. It looks small, but it's thick enough to hold up to the job.

This is a pretty crisp cymbal. It has a bright tone and lighting-fast sustain for quick accents where larger crash cymbals would be too much. They have a great tone and don't deaden immediately.

Why We Like This:
  • Decently bright with a quick decay
  • A wonderful addition to any drum set
  • Sounds pretty good, nice quick sound
  • Good value for someone on a tight budget
