The two carriage bolts included in the install kits are 4 1/2 inches in length. The plastic parts are a washer and cap for the top of the board and a thread cover for underneath.

The sr smith old board is capable of outshining several other products featured in this list in overall features in its price range. This diving board is very nice and sturdy. It comes with 2 bolts, washers and caps. The new one is not bouncy however gets more bouncy as time goes by. It does not have a ton of spring as it is firm but it will put up enough bounce to have kids and adults do flips. It's a great board (specs are perfect) with great quality.
