We are personally inclined towards stagebox hosa, it is not so pricy, but it overachieves its purpose and outstanding in important aspects. It is hardwired like a conventional snake. It is great as a drum snake or downstage as a vocal drop snake. It is made of plastic with silver plated pins. The male ends are all metal "Cannon copies" and also are fair quality.
