The fish tape is very very rigid and made of a thicker metal than most out there so it can push through things better than an average fish tape with its tensile strength keeping it from bending up like others. The 1/4” wide tape holds its shape very well for sneaking past batts of insulation, but is thin and flexible front to back. Even if you use it only once a year, this tool will make your life easier. They're good for straight drops down walls and light turns but you're not going to get 90 degree turns especially two of them.
