It does not look very solid but for under 200 lbs it works fine, it is very light and well made. It has an angle connector to go around the rear angle of the camper. It fits with no problem and it is good as built on any RV. It is super solid and feels very secure going up and down on at 200 lbs. The actual installation is challenging since the instruction sheet is pretty sketchy and brief. The Retro fitting requires that backing be in the walls and ceiling to attach. They are designed for the occasional use and are very limited in the weight that they can support due to mounting and the lack of proper backing on the RV.
