It is good for younger smaller kids five to six years. It is great for knee hockey and also the knee pads are great for protecting the pants from getting holes in them. Another great use would be for around ages 4 and under that have aspirations to be a goalie, this set would make a fun little practice/trial set for your little one. The mask is very nice and easy to adjust for a pretty wide range of ages/sizes.

It is a little flimsy if you are looking for older kids but perfect for indoor hockey. It makes knee hockey a lot more fun.
