Yep It’s super easy and it’s super strong If it’s for a travel trailer make sure you get the 66 inch one not the 60s too short but yes it is very very easy to take it off and put it back on. This is a metal frame to give you support as you climb up your stairs that are attached to your trailer. It takes a bit of time to get it to where it doesn't wobble so much. There is a bracket you attach at the bottom step and the rail slip into the bracket then you attach the top of the rail to the existing handle with a velcro strap. It can bend or mangle the step frame if not careful when using.
This is by far safer than just having a hand grab handle, and it comes off easily. It takes two people to remove the steps as the existing steps are very heavy. It is also very sturdy with the rail base plate staked to the ground. It has to be installed on the side away from the door opening. It is easy to install, and would be better if it incorporated the swing away ability of the factory.Why We Like This:
