The joshs frogs super natural substrate should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. This ABG mix, which is recommended for live terrariums for several species of reptiles, seems to be of high quality. It is designed to break down slowly, making it prime for use in terrariums/vivariums. It can be used for most bioactive vivarium set ups. It has a pleasant, earthy smell, not pungent, and it holds moisture very well. An animal may easily scratch themselves or ingest some of this soil when burying.
This substrate is designed for hermit crabs. There's no horrid smells or anything and the springtails and plants love it.
Why We Like This:
Pretty good soil mix for humid vivariums
Nothing harmful, just clean up crew type critters such as earthworms and millipedes

The flukers super natural substrate's superior materials makes sure that it ages well with use. This is THE BEST sand for hermit crabs. It is great sand to mix with coconut fiber for a perfect substrate for hermies. It stays moist and does not stick to the crabs. It's soft and easy for them to dig into. It is available in larger bags. The sand holds its shape super well. It is great for play sand to use play tables or sand boxes.
Why We Like This:
Helps with the humidity in the tank and makes cleaning the tank easy
Holds moisture well and has coconut fibers here and there in the sand

The croci super natural substrate gives the top-tier substrate a run for their money by offering flagship specs at a much more affordable price. Mold and create multi-level terraces and burrows in your reptiles terrarium make your reptiles feel like they are at home" in their natural habitat. It makes a beautiful, natural looking habitat that holds moisture and heat really well. Just a thin layer on top of the "false bottom" in the terrarium, is perfect for moss' growing needs. It's sand, not clay where once dry it's solid for good.
The spot that has belly heat needs to be between 1/8th and 1/4th in thick for enough heat to penetrate into caves, hills, or whatever you want to design. It is easy to clean and reusable, would recommend to pet owners and terrarium builds. The lizards cannot ingest it, easy to clean, looks great, and you can mold it into caves, hills, or whatever you want to design. This actually works better than Repticarpet or tile as the heat is evenly distributed and retained for longer.
Why We Like This:
Carefully empty into enclosure, go slow to avoid dust
Clean up is also very easy
Fun to use and easy once you at for a while with it
Great as a substrate additive not as 100% clay substrate

This is a 7.5 gallon tank containing one 10lb bag. It is good for stratifying seeds. It's so pretty you won’t want to put fish in there. It's a very pale buff white when dry and a pale tan when wet.
