It has a nice and big color display that is easy to read even in low light conditions. It will alert with a flashing icon and beep when close to NDL. There’s even a hidden gauge mode that you can use for basic skill diving which includes a stopwatch.
The Peregrine is your ideal companion for many adventures to come. It is easy to navigate and makes your essential information easy to understand at a glance. There’s an app that’s free that you can use to download your dives which is super easy to use as well. It is a nice computer for rec diving, Easy to use and partially customizable.

Compared with other computer in this category, the shearwater great dive computer has a convenient design. The Swift has a robust metal base that allows for hand installation without the need for special tools or wrenches. It is made of shore 70 silicone that has a very nice balance between strength and elasticity. It provides color indication and sound. The watch will automatically alert you for your safety stop with a 5 minute countdown at 15 feet. The Shearwater comes with its own dive log software which pairs over bluetooth with the dive computer and downloads the info to your laptop or phone.
The Swift active interference avoidance system allows many more transmitters to work side-by-side without signal interference. The watch face is also customizable with different displays and colors.

The Teric offers an information screen utilizing a 1.39 in | 35 mm full color amoled display with a diameter x height | 55mm x 18mm body and 4.25 oz | 120.4 g weight. It is optional for all modes, from oc rec to cc/bo. It is capable of wirelessly connecting to either one or two optional transmitters giving the diver the ability to monitor up to two tank pressures. The display is bright and clear. The wireless charging station works very well.
The Teric will only log your start and stop points when diving. The watch has good battery life while in use.

There is a case for the watch and the transmitter from Shearwater comes in its own nifty little case too. It is bright and reliable. It has a great compass with the ability to "mark" waypoints/directions and have arrow indications when you drift off course. It is easy to set courses, and very easy to read.
