If you've got an old vintage mountain bike you want to bring back to life, this is the fork. This is an awesome fork for a 90's retro mtb restoration project. It looks and performs exactly like a factory fork. This has 1"/25 mm tube, 7.87"/200 mm long, and 4.72"/120 mm of thread. The fork has mounting points for fenders. This has plenty of wiggle room for those older bikes with short steering tubes.
Why We Like This:
Non-threaded headsets and forks do not have a notch
Long steering tube with a lot of thread
Simple, quality well made fork for older mountain bike projects

Great looking chrome fork, steerer threads are nice and clean and dropout spacing fits a standard 100mm front hub. If you are used to alloy or carbon this fork is just flexible enough to give you a cushy, almost suspension-like ride and a nice lively feel instead of buzzy/dead/bone-jarring ride that many too-stiff but light forks give you.
It's not a fancy or super-light fork but it is made of CroMo and isn't too terribly heavy. The chrome finish obiates the need to match paint color. The two pairs of eyelets next to the fork end gives you more options for mounting fenders or whatever. The fork comes with a longish stem, so make sure your frame will fit it.
Why We Like This:
Clean braze and plating, smooth finish
An inexpensive way to save an old bike which has damaged or missing forks

Compared with other fork in this category, the sunlite bent fork has a convenient design. This one has a lot more material below the crown race. The finish is very nice.
