The alexes titanium white pigment powder might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few months. If you want colors to really stand out, this stuff really works. This product is very easy to use and it mixes easily into the pre-traced soap mix. It can easily make it white, so it contrasts better against colors or makes them pop more when added to it. The one with the color swirls is a test with alcohol ink (right side) and acrylic paint (left side) mixed with the epoxy after the Titanium Dioxide. This pigment is a finely ground powder and it mixes well. It doesn't take too much pigment for 2 pounds of soap, so if used exclusively for that, this pouch will last quite a while.
It can be blended with water or oil. This won't cause a really discolored bar of soap to magically be pure white (like if you use dark oils, or if there's discoloration from the fragrance oils), but it will help to lighten it.
