The numax flooring nailer is the best feature-rich nailer on the market today. This tool is fantastic and a must for those who are installing their own wood flooring. It is great for installing solid bamboo floors. It comes with a long reach fiberglass mallet with a padded grip to move flooring in place. It has an extended handle to prevent achy backs and a light strike bumper for low impact fastener driving. As long as the unit is lubricated regularly, it will fire concealed nails effortlessly.

The nailer has worked flawlessly. It feels really solid and performs consistently. Ideally it would be removable and made of a non-marring material.

Why We Like This:
  • Very nice quality and flawless performance
  • Jams, easy to assemble, just have to put the handle on
  • Great for this first time hardwood floor installer
  • Works fine, very effective with a little practice, even on some hard brazilian cherry

We know from years of feedback from readers, customers and amazon sellers, what most people want in a convenient and appropriate nailer. The freeman one tool is exactly that - it's a simple nailer that hits all the right notes. This tool takes a hard beating and just performs calmly and perfectly throughout the job. It comes with a really nice hard plastic case with a mallet. The rubber / iron mallet that comes with the nailer is solid and works great. The shoe balances well and sits firmly and squarely in the nailing flange. It comes with a decent plastic case that holds the 3 allen wrenches for the tool. The interchangeable base plates allow you to install.

It is easy to use, easy to load, and the mallet is sturdy.

Why We Like This:

  • Saves a lot of hard labor

The freeman tongue and groove floor nailer should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. Indeed, this flooring nailer requires an air compressor. It is used to install a 3/4inch solid wood floor. It is perfect for both solid wood tongue and groove or engineered flooring from 1/2" to 3/. The PDX50C model looks better made, has a nicer mallet, and weight less than the PFL618BR model.

This tool works flawlessly from the box. It is used for 850 square feet of 3/4 inch hickory. It is only meant to drive nails or staples on a 45 degree, you will probably have to use a finish nailer 16 or 18 gauge.

Why We Like This:
  • Excellent cuality, heavy duty and very reliable
  • Perfect for hardwoods, easy to use, functional, well built
  • Very predictable, easy to work with

Best For engineered Hardwood: 3PLUS tongue And groove Floor Nailer

3Plus makes beautiful and great nailer with classic and smartly choosen materials. The adjustable flooring foot is light weight plastic and is not going to last very long. It is perfectly for over 1200 sq ft of engineered hardwood. Without the plastic nose, there are two metal forks that act as both safety and depth measurement, and they will compress into the wood when firing the gun. It can shoot 18 gage 3/4-2 inch long brad nails in addition to 1/2-1-1/2 staples with 1/4 inch crown.

The knobs are plastic, and the base of the foot is quite small. This makes it a little slower than the mallet operated units with a dedicated shoe. It is easy to get the depth of the staple correctly. The thin rubber grip is comfortable though it might slip or move over time.

Why We Like This:
  • Awesome air tool for diy homeowners
  • Easy to use and load staples
  • One of the new comers and featured product
