It has nice modern arm and disarm sounds and also has an option to change the sound that you use if you press one of the buttons on the fob as a "car finder" type sound. It even sounds like that car alarm that runs through all five of the siren sounds, lol. The metal looking clip that holds it on the keyring is silver plastic. There is first a loud warning chirp and if you touch it again within a short amount of time it will go off for roughly 30 seconds.

The sound is very loud and is the right frequency to travel far. The key fob is nice, and also makes noise when you lock and unlock.
