Compared with other surround in this category, the swanstone back panel has a convenient design. It is perfect for both remodeling projects and new construction, swanstone tub walls give you the best of both worlds. It has a center panel and two side panels with rounded edges that are molded to set over the sides of the center panel. It is made of veritek with no surface coating to chip or crack. It includes one back panel with molded-in soap dish and two end panels.

When installed this Swanstone surround feels very solid and looks very nice. It is a fiberglass composition thicker and heavier than vinyl (about 3/16" thick) but in style and appearance very similar to the three piece vinyl surrounds. The end piece with the wrap-around corner is a cleaner installation then having a corner that has to be caulked or corner moulding trim added. It does require caulking. It comes with only the 3 walls.
