The joyo amp head should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. The Meteor XL has a clean channel that can take pedals really well, which makes it flexible and a great little companion for many situations where your "big" head is just not sensible. The tone controls work very well, making it easy to dial in the tone needed for the pieces you play. The tone is so clean and tight and you can hear all the strings when you play full chords (micro dark only sounds okay with power chords) even when overdriven. It comes with the foot switch.

The value of this amp head is phenomenal. The clean channel is really really nice and a good platform for pedals and ambient stuff, and the distortion channel is exactly what you'd expect for a dual rectifier type sound. It can get super loud if you want it to.
