Not everyone likes to purchase baffle for their daily usage, but the vance & hines quiet baffle would be an anomoly. These fit the Side Shot aftermarket exhaust by Vance and Hines. The trick is to twist the baffle as it's being inserted and assist it by stuffing a little with a flat bladded screw driver. The tape melts and glues the fiberglass mat to the inside of the pipes. The overall effect of the baffles is that the exhaust sound is a little bit quieter and the higher frequency sounds are less loud. These really tone down the sound of the exhaust but it doesn't make it less aggressive sounding either.
It comes as a single piece.
Why We Like This:
Easy to install on a 2005 dyna with vance and hines long shots
Great baffles that remove some higher-end frequencies
Much more pleasant ride and there is no performance reduction
Noticeable increase in torque compared to stock baffle

The 4into1 vance and hine performance baffle should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. The bike is no longer obnoxious and sounds fantastic. It is a great way to add baffles to drag pipes. The pipe and the baffle sandwich the insulation between them. It also produces so much back pressure it is affecting throttle response. Sharp noises are gone and it's definitely easier on the ears and will keep the neighbors from flipping out.
This baffle is still loud, but it takes the edge off the noise level at low RPMs. The metal baffle is gone, and it still has a nice rumble.
Why We Like This:
Fiber glass is nice and dense
Works like a champ and the noise level is much improved

The difference between the Super and Regular Quiet baffles is that the Super Quiet has 1 hole about 3/4" on the side of the snout, while the Quiet baffles has a number of what looks like about 5/16" holes. The bike runs quieter and there’s no pops or backfires.
The Super Q is designed to be the quietest baffle they offer, and reduce the volume more than the quiet baffle does, which still maintains a nice, deep sound from your pipes. It fits longshots, not even close and also it is easy to install, reduced the popping, while improving engine operation. The sound level is still high, but not as obnoxiously loud as with the stock baffles. These baffles lowered decibels noticeably while keeping the V&H sound.
Why We Like This:
Definitely makes exhaust much quieter and eliminates pops and backfires
