This is an 8 ohm 25 watt speaker and you need a 6 ohm 100 watt speaker. It is good speaker for use in any low power guitar amp with an open backed cabinet. It brightens up a stuffy, dark amp and makes it into a well balanced, usable piece of musical equipment.

The speaker sounds great and is a definite improvement over the stock speaker. It has a woofer which is designed for low frequency sound reproduction and would not give you the deep bass of the sub woofer. This speaker is one of the best replacement speakers you could use, fender used these in many of their vintage amps. It has sound samples to compare one speaker to another. The magnet is much heftier in the Jensen than the stock speaker. It has a bright, aggressive, and vintage sound. The 3 position toggle really changes the sound/tone like never before. They break up early ( Distort ) but clean up nice when you back off.
