It is perfect wax for mammoth mountain, ca. It has very little scent compared to others. The iron should be hot enough to melt it without making the wax smoke and smell burnt. It even comes with a sticker.
This block will last a long time. It is a nice vanilla cream scent. It is great for hot scrapes and building up freshly ground bases. It is easy to scrape and “soak” in well for a base coating the next season.
Why We Like This:

Zümwax has been making great wax for years, thanks to a combination of clever design and appropriate materials. This is a good general purpose wax and will work well for any type of pleasure skiing. It is easy to use, but definitely time consuming. It takes a bit of elbow grease to polish it in well but using a hairdryer as you go makes the job much easier. It is good as a pro doing a hot wax, but it will definitely extend the time between waxes. It helps even with quite big scratches.
The wax itself is pretty good, but it is kind of hard to stay pushed out while rubbing on the board. There is no chemical residue or smell associated with the product.
