The wen bench grinder is satisfactory and appropriate and fits well with your regular usage. It works nice with a stupid, vibrating dewalt grinder. It is ideal for a light 8 inch or just about any 6 inch grinder. The cooling tray is actually aluminum or some similar light (non-magnetic) material. The stand includes a water pot for quenching workpieces and a reliable three-legged design with bolt holes for fastening your stand to the floor. It is easy to assemble with the included tool.

It is well built and very stable. The grinder will walk if not bolted although using a pad of some sort minimizes movement if you aren't ready to bolt it down. It is maybe 3" taller, but its great as is also.
