The transparent finish lets you see inside the controller and gives it a futuristic look. There's a nice contrast between the smooth front and the grippy back. The rest of the controller is transparent, and is a very nice touch. The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has an internal rechargeable battery and is compatible with USB-C cable. They also make rechargeable battery packs specifically for the Xbox controllers. This controller is absolutely stunning.
