It is better than the 3rd party xbox remote (pdp-talon), and much more minimalistic. It can be taught most of roku remote inputs, but you will need the original remote from your roku. It is an infrared remote so you will have to aim it in order for it to work. The extra buttons work as expected in some streaming apps and not so much in others, but it also has the "A, B, X, Y" buttons as fallback so all good.
The power on takes a little extra time but the power off is immediate. It is great to not have to use controllers and waste batteries. The distance and press time has to be very exact in order for this remote to learn them. The remote works with no setup or programing for controlling the Xbox.Why We Like This:
