We are personally inclined towards noodler's ink yellow fountain pen ink, it is not so pricy, but it overachieves its purpose and outstanding in important aspects. This paper is absolutey resistant to fountain pen ink, and exhibits no feathering at all. It has a colorful personality and you will love it. The ink on the glass tip is a joy to behold. The perfect fall ink, it shades amazingly well. It does feather a bit and dries too fast for there to be any really interesting shading. It's fun and writes rather well.

The color is way too light to use as a daily writing ink. It is good for a stainless steel nib, likely better with more flexible nibs.
