We are personally inclined towards real essentials youth size football pant, it is not so pricy, but it overachieves its purpose and outstanding in important aspects. These are okay pants, they fit very well, and are super comfortable, but each pair has big holes in the pockets. It is perfect fit for a kid whose waist is small for their height. The outside has a slick type of feel, but the inside is a soft fleece. There's a working drawstring in the waist and there's also pockets. The fabric is a nice thick weight but looks like the type of fabric that might pill after a few washes.

The sizing looks to be consistent across all three pairs and the stiching looks good. It is great for boys in school.
