The JJ 6v6’s sound every bit as good as those vintage tubes. With very efficient speakers (say Celestion Blues or other alnicos like Ted Webers) this throttled-down power section will still give a startling amount of volume, so the YJS triodes won't relegate your amp to the bedroom. These new 6V6's handle more power than NOS ones. They are louder than Tung Sols, bigger sounding and more texture than the TS or the EH. The resulting sound is full and ballsy, but at a reasonable volume.
