There is some sheen but mostly it is bright and easy to read. The ink is great and the blue is a beautiful hue. The feathering on this ink really shows if using standard paper. One of its virtues is that it dries fast, so a Left hander such as myself finds this ink very useful. The ink does not feather and there is no bleed.
