The entire world in the game just feels empty aside from useless (short-lasting) power-ups you find laying around literally everywhere. With a Z-Ring and a Z-Crystal you can use a pokemon's ultimate move once per battle. It is fun and reminiscent of other Pokémon games. There are over a hundred side quests in the game with many returning from the previous games and many new quests as well.
While extremely similar to pokemon sun, this game changes it up with enough new things to make it feel different. The add ons and post elite four story lines are pretty cool.
