The tamiya high quality model kit might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few iterations. It is a plastic model kit that you build and paint. It fits perfectly, no flash, lots of nice detail, and accurate. It is easy to build and it looks impressive once finished.
