Fastrack line of fermenter come in a pretty wide variety of styles, so you can definitely find one that suits your individual preferences and needs. It is great for fermenting small batches of beer or wine. It has carved a niche for itself with watches and sunglasses that are both fashionable. It is all about range and delivers just that in almost ungodly quick cycles. The glass jugs are great, the bungs work well, although they will pop in if you press to hard on them.
The little plastic tube where it ferments is not at all easy to clean. It comes with an air lock and stopper. It is decent as well and functions properly. It is perfect for fermenting small batches of beer or wine.

For a low asking price, fastrack nice bucket has managed to overwhelm their customers by packing as many features as they could. It's pretty much a bucket with what you need to make beer in it. It's a high quality food grade bucket and lid. The smaller buckets have a partitioned seal on them. The spike comes off easily enough, after it stabs you, as you are aware of it.
This fermenter has worked very well. It is easy to use and the right size for sauerkraut fermentation. It is allows for any size airlock to be used, and the lid closes super tight.

The norrn brewer 6 gallon conical fermenter might be a relatively new release, but it's still nothing short of impressive this year, thanks to multiple price cuts and added new features over the past few months. It's super well-made and much more aesthetically pleasing to look at than your standard brewing bucket. It's made from tritan, a food-safe, bpa. Even if you don't harvest and reuse yeast, it's great for easily getting rid of your trub, and then replacing the jar with the included dispensing attachment. It's far more attractive than the standard brew bucket and also easier than racking a batch of beer from a primary to a secondary tank.
The valve on the bottom connected to a jar makes removing the trub easy. It is easy to reduce the accumulated yeast before transferring to the keg. On top of being optimum size and shape for a dishwasher, this will also *just* fit in a decently large fridge (shelves removed of course) if you intend to try to cold-crash at the end of your fermentation.
Why We Like This:
Very easy to clean you just put it in the dishwasher

Not everyone likes to purchase fermenter for their daily usage, but the chapman brewing equipment 6 gallon conical fermenter would be an anomoly. If you're doing a simple brew setup, this is the one for you. It is perfect for a 5 gal batch of home brew. It’s a giant step up from a plastic bucket. The lid still seals and it's easy to clean and sanitize. It cleans so easily also. It is easy to cool fast in a sink of ice water. It's a good value, frankly the best around in terms of a stainless fermenter. It is a single-ply bottom, so there is scorching potential.
Why We Like This:
Good seal, easy to clean and sanitize
Great value and great all-around fermenter
Boilover when heating, no blowouts during fermentation

The anvil 6 gallon conical fermenter should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. It makes the fermentor look like one of those old coffee urns. There's plenty of headspace for a five-gallon batch, it cleans well, and it seals tightly. It includes a ball valve, air-lock, and stopper. There is a temperature-measuring strip that sticks to the fermentor to allow you to keep an eye on fermentation temperature.
There aren't a lot of corners for gunk to get caught on, and stainless steel just plain cleans more easily than plastic, while not being so heavy nor so delicate as glass. The mouth is large enough to get down inside it. It looks much nicer than a plastic bucket and should last a lifetime.

Not everyone likes to purchase fermenter for their daily purpose, but the chapman brewing equipment another fermenter would be an anomoly. If you want to speed up the process, there's easier-to-disassemble ball valves out there that you can swap in. The fermenter is made of stainless steel with a silicone gasket under the lid, handles mounted securely to the sides, and latches to hold the lid down. The stamped gallon markers can be off because they're stamped too high or low. It is perfect for 5 gallon batches with plenty of head space.
Being stainless steel, it's easy to clean and doesn't retain odors between batches. The bucket-shaped design is good for most brewing applications, though for many a conical bottom would be better as it would more easily accumulate the yeast. The design makes it very easy to take apart and clean. It is on the kitchen counter being deep cleaned and water tested.
