The Celestron 93230 8 to 24 millimeters 1.25 inch zoom eyepiece allows you to zoom instantly with your scope from 8x magnification to 24x magnification. It's just much easier to use this zoom lens and the optical quality is excellent. It comes with a sturdy individual case, easy to pack and attach. It is a little heavy and a bit stiff on the zoom function. It is well made and delivers solid performance.

The celestron versatile eyepiece should be able to handle its purpose and duties with ease. It allows to zoom from low to high power in an instant with this versatile eyepiece. It is great for zooming, but will not replace a good set of eyepieces. The moon view fills the entire lens of the eyepiece. The nice part about this zoom lens is the long eye relief distance, meaning you can wear glasses or contact lenses, or, without glasses you do not need to jam the eyepiece against your eyeball.

It is quite clear and has solid adjustment. It is not perfect and there is a lot of chromatic aberration when using it zoomed way in at the 8-12mm level but when you are zoomed way out at 24mm, WOW, the view is astounding.

If you often find yourself confused about appropriate and satisfactory eyepiece, this product is your end point. This 12 mm eye piece will give you above 100X magnification on your 4SE. It provides 80x magnification and works well on lunar and planetary observation sessions. It is a nice step up from the original equipment eyepiece. It is great for viewing close ups of jupiter and saturn.

It is a 4mm eyepiece of pretty good quality. It comes with a focal length of just 9mm, this eyepiece offers high magnification to get in close and observe objects when seeing conditions are stable. It should work satisfactorily for viewing nebule if your skies are reasonably dark. The 16 mm eye relief means you don't have to get your eye super close to the eyepiece and therefore gives good comfort for viewing and minimizes vibrations which may be caused by touching the eyepiece.

A good 18 mm or even a 25 mm eyepiece plus a good Barlow 2X will give you excellent views of planets. The 10 mm eyepiece that comes with the scope is the highest power you can usefully use for bright planet viewing at 90x. It offers a no-slip grip, even with gloves on. If the seeing conditions are calm and steady, the eyepiece will provide a high powered view. The highest power Omni 4 mm eyepiece will provide 1125x magnification.

It will work fine with any 1, 25" focuser, no adapters or attachments required. The scope comes with a 90 degree star diagonal which puts the bird right way up but of course left is right and right is left with the star diagonal. It will drift rapidly across your field of view so each time you adjust the scope you will lose seeing time while vibration settles out.

The X-Cel LX 12mm will give you 233x magnification with your scope, that's a nice middle range, not too high magnification or too low magnification. It does have the threads to attach filters. It is great for low power wide field scanning.
